Malux is the drum and bass alias of London-based producer Alex Chambers, who is also known for his work as Skope in dubstep and bass music. Specializing in neurofunk and heavy drum and bass, Malux emerged in 2016 and quickly established himself within the genre's underground scene. His productions are characterized by intricate sound design, morphing bass lines, and cutting drum programming. Malux has released music on labels including Blackout, Eatbrain, Vision, and Bad Taste, alongside releases on RAM Records, Trendkill, and Inspected in his first year. In 2017, he released material on Invisible, C4C, Program, and The Prototypes' Get Hype label, with performances at Fabric and Boom Town. His Warp Drive EP was released during this period, and more recent tracks include "Ghost Train" with Hijak MC, "Jericho", and "Mammoth" on Evolution Chamber, with "Nosedive" arriving on Evolution Chamber in 2024.
